DUNDEE HEALTHY WEIGHT PARTNERSHIP

The Partnership was established in April 2017 as part of the Health, Care and Wellbeing Executive Board of the Dundee Community Planning Partnership.

The Community Planning Partnership has recognised that supporting people in Dundee to have a healthy weight is a priority for the City which needs the involvement of all of us to make a difference. The DHW Partnership is responsible for driving forward change and improvement across the City – focussing particularly on early intervention, prevention and reducing health inequalities.

DUNDEE HEALTHY WEIGHT PARTNERSHIP

Service design consultancy Open Change works with public, private and voluntary sector organisations to develop leadership and the creative capacity to develop and deliver services which meet the needs of service users. They designed and delivered this event for Dundee Healthy Weight Partnership. Led by Hazel White and Mike Press, Open Change supports cultural change by putting those who use and deliver services at the heart of collective leadership and engagement activities. Open Change has worked with organisations including the National Library of Greece, the Dasman Diabetes Institute in Kuwait, Dundee City Council, NHS Tayside, Dundee University Medical School, Abertay University, Dundee & Angus College and Voluntary Sector Organisations, building communities with capacity to use service design. It specialises in embedding design and methods within health, education and change management - to make taking on the challenges of change both creative and engaging.

Working with us at the event were our associates Linsey McIntosh, Dr Jennifer Jones and Claire Hartley.
